BERN, Switzerland—T-net, Transat and Performance Technologies will together demonstrate seamless roaming between wireless local area network (WLAN) and GSM networks this week at the 3GSM World Congress.
The joint solution allows subscribers to roam between WLAN and GSM networks yet keep a single identity and receive a single bill. T-net has provided its WeRoam service to link WLAN networks together and connect them to GSM networks and has worked with Transat and Performance Technologies to develop an enabling infrastructure that includes WAIN software and a signaling gateway.
