China’s Putian teams with Starent and Telos on W-CDMA

BEIJING—Recently China’s Putian Information Technology Research Academy, the United States’ Starent and Canada’s Telos signed a framework agreement to establish a joint research lab to develop a W-CDMA core network system.

Putian’s director, Ouyang Zhong, said cooperation with foreign partners to develop third-generation technologies was the company’s strategic policy.
