CALGARY—Zi Corp. announced it won its second patent suit against Tegic communications, a unit of AOL Time Warner.
The latest ruling follows a recent decision in California that stated Zi’s v.4.5 eZiText product does not infringe Tegic’s text input patents.
“These legal victories underscore our commitment to protect our intellectual property portfolio, instilling further confidence in our products with our customers,” said Michael E. Lobsinger, chairman and chief executive officer of Zi.
