ROCKVILLE, Md.—Mobilepro Corp. announced its NeoReach Inc. subsidiary, which develops modem solutions to support third-generation wireless services, has filed five patent applications and has been notified by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office that two have been approved and the review process is under way for the others.
One of the approved patents covers intellectual property for the enhancement of the performance of conventional smart antenna processing technology for 3G wireless communications and the other offers automatic, low-cost improvements to smart antenna processing technology. The other three innovations will allow 3G network operators to support more subscribers, offer expanded coverage and maintain quality of communication channels.
