AT&T Wireless sells $3B in global bonds

NEW YORK—AT&T Wireless sold $3 billion worth of global bonds on Thursday, according to co-lead manager Lehman Brothers Inc. Due to nervous investors the carrier postponed the offer from earlier in the week and had to eventually boost yields on the bonds to attract buyers.

The bonds included $250 million of three-year notes, $750 million of five-year notes and $2 billion of 10-year notes.
