I3 Mobile repurchases 1.5M shares from Keystone Ventures

STAMFORD, Conn.—Wireless Internet veteran I3 Mobile Inc. announced it repurchased 1.5 million shares of the company’s common stock from Keystone Ventures, which bought shares in the company before it went public in 2000.

“As we roll out our new Pronto service, our repurchase of a large block of I3 Mobile’s shares is an expression of our confidence in the future of the company,” said John Lack, the company’s president and chief executive officer.
