SUNNYVALE, Calif.—AMD said it has unveiled a new mobile Athlon XP processor that delivers high performance and requires low power to notebooks.
“The launch of the mobile AMD Athlon XP processors based on 0.13 micron technology on Socket A consolidates the company’s position in the consumer market, and the upcoming mobile AMD Athlon XP processors based on the micro corporate market,” said Shane Rau, PC semiconductor analyst at IDC.
