DALLAS—Alcatel Alsthom said it has signed a GSM expansion contract valued at over $114 million with Jiangsu Mobile Communication Co. in China.
Under the contract terms, Alcatel will provide its Evolium mobile infrastructure, which includes base stations, base station controllers, home location registers and mobile switching centers. The French vendor will also supply software and services around eight cities and regions of the Jiangsu province.
