LONDON-Vodafone Group plc said it added 2.7 million proportionate customers during its fiscal first quarter ended June 30, including 1.3 million subscribers from stake changes, bringing its total registered proportionate customer base to 103.9 million worldwide. The percentage of contract customers also increased from 39 percent to 44 percent of its customer base.
The wireless giant also reported data revenue as a percentage of service revenue was 14 percent during June, with messaging data representing 10.5 percent of the total.
