ATLANTA-Wi-Fi Internet access provider Sanswire Technologies Inc. announced it completed its acquisition of certain assets of Tsunami Communications Inc., a wireless Internet provider in Spokane, Wash.
“This acquisition is the first of what we see as many acquisitions of cash flowing, and profitable regional wireless ISPs,” said Sanswire’s president, Michael Molen. “With the global acceptance of wireless as a true mechanism to deliver high-speed Internet connectivity, Sanswire is committed to a growth strategy of acquiring successful regional-based carriers to complete our national footprint.”
Sanswire said it expects the acquisition to add about $2.5 million in tangible assets to its book value, and added revenue in excess of $1.2 million per year.
