Norweigen Cruise Lines offers Wi-Fi

MIAMI-Norweigen Cruise Lines has introduced wireless Internet access to the high seas with the announcement it has partnered with Maritime Telecommunications Network and PCTEL to offer Wi-Fi high-speed wireless Internet access to guests with laptops.

With a wireless network card, guest will be able to access the Internet and e-mail on their laptops from designated locations on the cruise ship. NCL will charge $10 per day for the Wi-Fi network card and offer service either by the minute or in 33-, 100-, or 250- minute packages, beginning at 40 cents per minute. NCL will also rent laptops for $35 per day.
