ISSY-LES-MOULINEAUX, France-Wavecom has opened a representative office in China, the largest single market in its largest region.
The new office is in the Zhongguancun district of Beijing, known as a hub of technology operations. Six people currently staff the office and Haibo Zhu, chief representative officer of the new office, said Wavecom expects the Beijing office to employ 30 within a year.
