WOODBURY, N.Y.-Messaging company Comverse Technology Inc. posted a net loss of $25 million for its third quarter, compared with a net income of $20 million for the same quarter last year.
The company’s stock was up along with the rest of the market to about $12 per share.

“Our third quarter results continue to reflect the different dynamics that are currently impacting the markets we serve,” said Kobi Alexander, the company’s chairman and chief executive officer.
