CARY, N.C.-Wireless software platform provider Pinpoint Networks Inc. announced it closed new venture funding with Intel Capital, which brings the company’s total funding to $20 million since its founding in 1999.
“Our greatest accomplishment over the past 12 months has been a laser-like focus on execution, which has enabled Pinpoint to attract world-class investors and land significant global customer contracts in a challenging environment,” said Jud Bowman, the company’s president and chief executive officer.
Verizon Wireless Inc., Rogers AT&T Wireless and MmO2 have licensed the company’s Fuel application management platform.
