RESTON, Va.-SuperShuttle, which provides shuttle services to 22 airports nationwide, deployed mobile field service and sales applications provider Vettro’s mobile Fleet Optimization application on Nextel Communications Inc.’s packet data network.
Vettro said the application will enable SuperShuttle to increase the efficiency of its fleet operations by allowing dispatchers to assign routes based upon the real-time location and status of each driver via an external GPS receiver.
