SUNNYVALE, Calif.-The nation’s 18th largest law firm will be the first to use Good Technology Inc.’s new G100 wireless e-mail devices, and will equip more than 1,200 employees with the device.
O’Melveny & Myers L.L.P. is one of Good’s more than 450 customers, although the first to use the company’s handhelds. Most of Good’s other customers use the company’s corporate information server and Research In Motion Ltd.’s BlackBerry devices. Good’s devices have only recently become available. Good’s service runs over Cingular Wireless’ Mobitex wireless data network.
Law firms have been a mainstay for small wireless e-mail devices, since lawyers cannot bring laptops into courtrooms in order to check e-mail.
