ATLANTA-EMS Technologies Inc. said it filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Sweden-based Allgon AB on technology used in base station antenna products.
The lawsuit, pending in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, seeks to block Allgon from importing and making the antennas, which EMS claims are based on its dual polarization technology. The lawsuit involves two patents.
“EMS is serious about protecting the technical capabilities resulting from long-term investment in R&D, and will continue to enforce its intellectual property rights as a leading wireless technology company,” said William S. Jacobs, EMS Technologies’ vice president and general counsel.
