RESTON, Va.-In a Securities and Exchange Commission filing, Nextel Communications Inc. reported it had completed its acquisition of all the stock of NeoWorld Communications Inc., which owned and operated 900 MHz specialized mobile radio systems.
In completing the acquisition, Nextel said it paid the remaining $197 million balance on Jan. 15, which was in addition to previous payments of $79 million through the end of last year.
