SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.-Contract electronic manufacturer Sanmina-SCI Corp. reported a first-quarter profit of $1.4 million, or 1 cent per share, in line with Wall Street estimates.
These figures contrast with a pro forma profit of $7.3 million, or 3 cents per share, a year ago.
“We are starting to see some signs that calendar 2003 will be a better year,” said Sanmina-SCI chairman and chief executive Jure Sola.
