CANNES, France-RealNetworks Inc. announced two mobile media-related partnerships at this week’s 3GSM World Congress in Cannes, France.
The company said Hong Kong wireless operator CSL will cooperate with Nokia to provide mobile video services based on RealNetworks’ technology. The video service will give mobile consumers access to live and on-demand video over CSL’s GPRS network.
RealNetworks also announced it will partner with Ericsson to integrate its Helix media delivery technology into the new Ericsson Content Delivery Solution (ECDS). The integration will offer operators one comprehensive solution to create mobile media services.
