ANNAPOLIS, Md.-TeleCommunication Systems Inc. and LocatioNet have partnered to launch Location JumpStart, an end-to-end location package for wireless carriers.
According to the companies, Location JumpStart is designed to offer an easy-to-deploy, low-cost entry system to offer revenue-generating applications. Carriers will be able to offer selected location-based services with Location JumpStart with optional upgrade to TCS’ Xypoint Location Platform and LocatioNet Platform full suites.
Location JumpStart, which is scaleable, combines user location, privacy control, GIS functionality, service amendment and applications.
The product includes three applications: Points Of Interest Finder, the MyMap rich media application suite and Web-based Fleet Management. These applications support routing and navigation, content and maps on a variety of mobile interfaces.
