Motorola gets $39M GSM contract in Pakistan

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates-Motorola Inc. said it has won an expansion contract worth about $39 million to supply GSM network equipment to Pakistan Mobile Communications Limited.

“With this agreement, we will help PMCL expand its coverage and capacity to deliver mobile communications that help make life simpler for its customers and pave the way for high speed data services in the future,” said Jeff Cherif, general manager of the Middle East and Africa region for GTSS.
