DALLAS-Texas Instruments Inc. said its digital signal processor technology known as TMS32064x will be deployed in Siemens AG’s TD-SCDMA base stations, which are already in field trials in China and scheduled for operation at the end of this year.
“This programmable DSP platform allows base stations to be upgraded easily as standards change and evolve further, and demonstrates TI’s leadership in the wireless infrastructure market,” said TI.
