BELLEVUE, Wash.-Wireless Applications Corp. added a feature to its online tower mapping PowerSearch tool that awards users with immediate product upgrades as they locate tiny globe icons hidden on the site.
PowerSearch allows users to search structure databases, perform RF propagation, design microwave path profiles and research personal communications services and cellular market ownership. It received an award for the best online site location tool at Shorecliff’s Tower Summit trade show last fall.
The new feature awards users who click on egg-shaped icons of Earth with free one-week upgrades to their accounts. Clues to finding the icons are dispersed throughout the site.
