ATLANTA-Advanced Recognition Technologies Inc.’s SmARTspeak XG phonemic speech recognition solution has been ported to the latest additions to Texas Instruments’ TCS line of antenna-to-applications chipset solutions for 2.5-generation wireless devices.
The solution will allow users with phones equipped with TI’s TCS chipsets to take advantage of speaker independent name dialing, continuous digit dialing, command and control, and trainable continuous digit dialing for custom languages. The phone will recognize any voice, using any sentence structure, without training. According to ART, smARTspeak XG is the first speaker-independent name dialing solution available for the mass market.
