SAN FRANCISCO-With push-to-speak services designed to rival Nextel Communications Inc.’s Direct Connect offering expected from a number of carriers in the near future, Telephia Inc. released a report showing nearly one-fourth of business end users think the application would most likely enhance on-the-job efficiency.
The survey also showed that despite support from those business end users, only 7 percent of corporate decision-makers are currently considering initiatives to implement push-to-speak services in the next 18 months. Of those companies looking to implement push-to-speak services, Telephia found 16 percent were in the high-tech/telecom field and 11 percent were in the transportation/utilities/construction business.
