TOKYO-Japanese operator J-Phone Co. said it will change the name of its J-Sky mobile Internet service to Vodafone Live in line with its adoption of the Vodafone brand Oct. 1. Vodafone Live is Vodafone Group plc’s mobile Internet service, which is currently available in 13 countries around the globe.
In conjunction with the name change, from mid-November, current J-Sky e-mail address domains, currently jp-X.ne.jp will change to X.vodafone.ne.jp. To help prevent spam, e-mail addresses using telephone numbers will be discontinued and replaced with unique ones.
