Convergys gets China Unicom contract
CINCINNATI-Convergys Corp. has licensed its Activation Manager provisioning module to China Unicom Guangdong, a provincial operator of China Unicom Ltd., marking Convergys’ first product deployment in China.
Convergys will integrate its Activation Manager with the carrier’s incumbent billing platform and support convergent service offerings in 17 different network element types in multiple cities in the Guangdong province. Convergys will also provide maintenance and development to support new network elements and service offerings.
