SAN DIEGO-Qualcomm Inc. said it has sampled to customers its MSM6250 mobile station modem chipset and system software supporting GSM, GPRS, frequency division duplex and W-CDMA.
“This single-chip solution eliminates the need for an external applications processor and associated memory, significantly reducing bill-of-material costs, board size and power consumption,” said Qualcomm.
