CORAL GABLES, Fla.-THB Bury, through its subsidiary THB USA Inc., announced it will offer its hands-free wireless equipment in North America.
THB’s product line, currently offered in Europe, includes System 8, which allows wireless users to switch between different models and makes of wireless phones and to connect laptops and personal digital assistants in one vehicle. System 8 includes a cross platform base unit that provides power and controls a microphone, amplifier and speaker, as well as a cradle that connects the cell phone with the base unit and an external antenna and charges the battery.
“Cellular phones have become a vital part of our daily lives. However, when used while driving a car, the phone can easily become a distraction and can endanger your life and the safety of others,” said Henryk Bury, founder of THB Bury. “System 8 provides the perfect solution that enables users to safely drive and talk at the same time, while maintaining their focus on the road.”
THB said its products will be offered in North America through Tessco Technologies, AleEv and NCI, as well as through wireless carriers and car manufacturers.
