BANGKOK, Thailand-L.M. Ericsson said it has signed an agreement to be the sole supplier of GSM equipment for Thai mobile carrier AIS in the metropolitan area.
The initial value of the deal is $10 million, according to Ericsson.
“The agreement with AIS covers the core and radio access network expansions, including the EDGE live network with a selected group of users,” said the Swedish vendor, adding that it will provide EDGE integration and bring value-added services to its customer.
