SAN DIEGO-Wireless Facilities Inc. and TruePosition Inc. have signed a multi-year agreement under which Wireless Facilities will support the installation and commissioning of TruePosition’s enhanced-911 solution with wireless carriers in the United States.
According to TruePosition, its Finder location solution enables wireless carriers to meet the Federal Communications Commission’s E911 Phase II mandate, which requires carriers to provide accurate data to 100 meters for 67 percent of calls and 300 meters for 95 percent of calls.
