RESTON, Va.-NII Holdings, which operates iDEN-based networks in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Peru, said it will expand its portfolio of handsets with new models from Motorola Inc. The new handsets, also launched by Nextel Communications Inc. and Southern LINC in the United States, include Java technology, global positioning system technology, color screens and increased memory.
“With these new products and their enhanced technology, we provide communications tools that best serve the needs of our business customers,” said Doug Dunbar, vice president of marketing and sales for NII Holdings.
