CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa.-Sprint PCS affiliate UbiquiTel Inc. released updated financial and operating guidance for the fourth quarter of 2003.
The company said it expects earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization for the quarter to be between $9 million and $11 million, an increase from previous guidance of $5 million to $7 million. UbiquiTel expects net subscriber additions to be 21,000 to 23,000, narrowing the previously expected 15,000 to 25,000.
The carrier also said it expects wireless number portability, which is now effective in 25 percent of UbiquiTel’s markets, to have “an immaterial impact on its operating performance” for 2003.
