CALGARY, Alberta-John Herring, president and chief executive officer of wireless enterprise company Wireless Matrix Corp., resigned his position to “pursue other opportunities.” The company said its vice president, Al Milligan, will serve as interim president and its chief financial officer, Mark Weder, will also assist with executive functions in the short term. The company said it is “currently assessing its needs” for a new CEO.
“I would like to thank John for his commitment and contribution in building the company and, on behalf of the board, wish John success in all his future endeavors,” said David Magus, chairman of Wireless Matrix’s board.
The company’s stock was down almost 3 percent on the Toronto stock exchange.
