HELSINKI, Finland-Nokia Corp. said it has won a contract to supply Finnish network operator Finnet Networks Ltd. with an EDGE system for data services.
No financial details were released.
The carrier also said it is using Nokia EDGE-capable base stations for trials.
Finnet operates a GSM/GPRS network for DNA Finland. Nokia and European Union-funded development project the Octopus project are collaborating to provide the EDGE system for the carrier.
