Motorola Inc. continued to expand its camera phone line-up in North America with the release of its V400 camera phone with Cingular Wireless for $150 with service activation.
The move comes shortly after Motorola introduced the V600 camera phone with AT&T Wireless Services Inc. Motorola had at one time planned for its advanced camera phones to be available by the holiday season, but was forced to delay them.
The V400 phone offers 4-times zoom capabilities, 5 MB of available memory and support for MP3 ring tones.
“The Motorola V400 reflects our company’s passion for transforming cutting-edge technology into compelling, relevant consumer experiences,” said Joe Woods, vice president of product operations for Motorola. “The new model V400 is a tiny powerhouse that accommodates our consumer’s busy, mobile lifestyles-packing work, play and rich communications into a compact and easy-to-use package.”
