STOCKHOLM, Sweden-L.M. Ericsson said it has expanded its programs to verify and integrate products in line with open, cross-vendor specifications for Push to talk over Cellular technology.
Ericsson is one of the vendors to define and back the PoC standard and claims to have connected its PoC-based system on a public network.
“The initiative will help prevent marketplace fragmentation by ensuring early alignment of terminals in anticipation of expected growth of push to talk services and subscribers,” said the company.
