DENVER-Systems integrator AccuCode Inc. launched its Wireless Security Practice, which provides assessment and network architecture services for wireless networks.
AccuCode’s new Wireless Security Division includes four key steps, said the company. A wireless security audit is conducted to identify and classify risk. AccuCode then poses as an intruder to assess potential depth of intrusion. Using information gathered from the first two stages, AccuCode either updates the client’s existing security architecture or designs a new system. Finally, AccuCode implements the new infrastructure.
“According to Buchanan Associates, currently 70 percent of all wireless LANS are not secure, and wireless access points are becoming the preferred point of attack for cracking network security. Our new division will help corporations maintain the convenience of wireless technologies with integrity, and without fear of network intrusion or malicious attacks,” said Kevin Price, chief executive officer of AccuCode.
