BERWYN, Pa.-Triton PCS Holdings Inc. appointed three independent members to its board of directors, bringing the total number of board members to nine.
The new members include Mathias DeVito, chairman emeritus of The Rouse Co.; Eric Haskell, executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Systems & Computer Technology Corp.; and David Watson, executive vice president of sales, marketing and customer service at Comcast Cable Communications Inc.
“With the appointment of these three extremely accomplished individuals to our board, we have significantly increased the breadth and depth of expertise to assist us in the direction and oversight of Triton PCS and its operations,” said Michael Kalogris, chairman and chief executive officer of Triton. “The expansion of our board also is designed to further enhance the level of independence, strengthening the company’s already tight corporate governance.”
