ATLANTA-Research In Motion introduced its color BlackBerry 7750 wireless handheld at the CTIA Wireless show. The Java-based device is scheduled to be available from Verizon Wireless in April.
Features of the 7750 include:
- a large, high-resolution color screen that supports more than 65,000 colors,
- support for 800/1900 MHz CDMA 1X networks,
- cradle-free wireless e-mail synchronization,
- integrated e-mail attachment viewing that supports popular file formats,
- a push-based wireless architecture that delivers messages automatically,
- wireless integration with multiple existing e-mail accounts,
- a “thumb-typing” keyboard and navigation trackwheel,
- backlit screen and keyboard, and
- a pocket-sized, lightweight and ergonomic handheld design with an internal high-performance antenna.
