CAMBRIDGE, Ontario-LogiSense Corp.’s EngageIP Hot Spot Suite software solution has been chosen by the District of Squamish for the deployment of a Wi-Fi network, in preparation for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
The District of Squamish is between Vancouver and Whistler, the ski resort that will host the Olympic downhill skiing events. A Wi-Fi network there will allow those visiting for the Olympics to wirelessly access the Internet.
“We’re flattered to be chosen for this important deployment,” said Flavio Gomes, president and chief executive officer of LogiSense. “Squamish will quite literally play a central role leading up to and during the Olympic Games.”
