ORLAND PARK, Ill.-Andrew Corp. and Vivato Inc. have partnered to provide wireless networks operators with a Wi-Fi solution.
The companies plan to jointly market, install and service their solution, which will use Andrew’s global distribution and wireless systems integration expertise with Vivato’s smart antenna products. “Using the Andrew-Vivato solution, our Wi-Fi network operator customers can provide signal coverage over a large area with a minimum number of access points,” explained Jerry Dziki, vice president of Andrew’s broadband access group.
The companies will also offer the solution for use in applications for business, educational and healthcare campus environments.
