REDWOOD SHORES, Calif.-Wireless enterprise company Visto announced it launched a new wireless e-mail product called Visto Mobile, which is based on technology the company acquired through its purchase of ViAir last year.
“Visto continues to set the pace for mobile e-mail/PIM development,” said Brian Bogosian, the company’s chairman, president and chief executive officer. “The heart of our proposition is that with the Visto Mobile platform, operators can offer customers individual, POP3, or corporate e-mail/PIM accounts. What’s more, they can use handsets from Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Palm or many, many others, and run the service over Windows Mobile, PalmSource or Symbian OS operating platforms.”
