Boingo Wireless, ICOA expand roaming agreements

SANTA MONICA, Calif.-Boingo Wireless and ICOA Inc. announced they have expanded their existing roaming relationship to include all six of the regional airports that are part of ICOA’s Airport Network Solutions subsidiary’s Wi-Fi network.

The partnership, which brings the number of airports that are part of the Boingo Roaming System to 75, offers Boingo users wireless access at Spokane, Wash., International Airport; the Greater Baton Rouge, La., Airport; Sacramento International Airport; Manchester, N.H., Airport; Savannah/Hilton Head, Ga., International Airport and Fresno-Yosemite, Calif., International Airport. The original roaming agreement only included the airports in Sacramento, Savannah and Baton Rouge.

“As a neutral host provider, it is essential that we add quality roaming partners to increase the traffic and value of our networks,” said Rick Schiffmann, executive vice president of ICOA.
