DENVER-Jones Media Networks Inc. will team with 9 Squared Inc. to offer country-and-western-themed ring tones, wallpaper and other content, the companies announced.
The content, which will be offered through the newly created Jones Banana Network, will be associated with music video network Great American Country Inc. and several of the company’s nationally syndicated radio programs. A national marketing campaign will launch the service this weekend, promoting ring tones from country artist Tim McGraw and his new album, “Live Like You Were Dying.”
Content will be provided by Denver-based 9 Squared Inc.
“Mobile content is a natural extension of our business, and we believe that our loyal viewers and listeners are thrilled to purchase ring tones and wallpapers featuring their favorite artists,” said GAC President Jeffery C. Wayne.
