ALEXANDRIA, Va.-Wireless infrastructure association PCIA has hired Thomas Goode to serve as the association’s government affairs director. Goode has been counsel to several national associations and has practiced in the telecommunications field for nearly 13 years.
Goode’s PCIA responsibilities include building and maintaining strong industry relationships with partner and government agency staff to effectively represent PCIA members’ interests. He will work with PCIA members to plan, formulate and recommend policies and programs that will further the objectives of the antenna and siting industry and direct and manage the work of outside counsel.
Goode reports to Connie Durcsak, senior director, government and industry affairs, and joins Andrea Bruns, government relations director at PCIA.
Goode most recently worked on federal regulatory matters for Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS). Before ATIS, he worked with German technology companies to establish legal, regulatory and deployment strategies in U.S., South American and European markets. Goode also served as associate general counsel with the United Telecom Council (UTC).
