CAMBRIDGE, United Kingdom-Andrew Corp. said it will invest an undisclosed amount in mobile location technology developer Cambridge Positioning Systems Ltd.
With the investment, the companies will integrate CPS’ Matrix mobile locating solution into Andrew’s Geometrix product line. Andrew plans to license the CPS Matrix solutions for global distribution beginning in the fourth quarter.
“Our investment in CPS is another indicator that we continually innovate with effective and efficient new technologies in our mobile locating systems,” said Terry Garner, Andrew’s president of network solutions.
