SAN DIEGO-Remec Inc. announced it has engaged Needham & Co. Inc. as a financial advisor to assist it in exploring strategic and financing alternatives for its business. Remec said earlier this month it planned to hire a financial advisor.
Already, Remec said it has entered into a letter of intent to sell one of its non-core businesses and is in discussions regarding others.
The company also announced Ernst & Young L.L.P. has resigned as its independent accounting firm without explanation, and Remec has begun a search for a replacement firm.
