SKOKIE, Ill.-Rand McNally & Co. released its Rand McNally Traffic application, a downloadable mobile application that delivers real-time traffic flow and incident reports for more than 90 cities in the United States.
Users can view information on accidents, construction, areas of congestion, road closures, weather conditions and local events that could impact traffic. The application includes The Commute Wizard, which allows users to store their commute routes and quickly retrieve information pertaining to those routes.
The application initially is available to Sprint PCS Vision, AT&T Wireless Services Inc. and Alltel subscribers with compatible phones. The service carries a $4 per month subscription fee.
